The first stone of Collegial, dedicated to Notre-Dame, was posed in the year 1311. The chorus was finished in 1377 and all the work completed in 1536. The building is a happy mixture of Gothic radiating with the 14 E century and blazing of the 15 E century. At outside, the attention is drawn by the enormous turn of square plan formerly surmounted by an arrow set fire to in 1803.
Two others turns flank the chorus. A large radiant rosette, Li Rondia , were equipped recently with new stained glasses due to Master R. Julin (external diameter: 9 m, internal diameter: 6 m). |
